Atlantic Records is looking for "Market Leaders" who are tastemakers and very in touch with their cities and the surrounding areas. Market Leaders will be the core representatives for all things rock and pop, and will be very hands-on for album releases, tour dates, lifestyle and retail promotion, and online initiatives. Market Leader positions are unpaid, but you will have monthly expenses and access to tickets to our label shows, competitive label shows, chances to meet the bands, participate in exclusive shows and contests, as well as getting a first-hand experience working in the music industry.

Qualifications:

• Have reliable transportation
• Have a camera
• Must actively work all rock/pop bands that are current priorities (please see streetpropaganda.net for a list of bands)
• Must be at least 17 years of age
• Must have strong time management skills (15+ hrs per week, on average, will be required for this)
• Must be organized and thourogh in your work
• Must be outgoing and have great communication skills
• Must be accessible on a daily basis (i.e. email, cell phone etc.)
• Must own or have frequent access to a computer
• Preferred street teaming experience of 6+ months (but not required)
• MUST HAVE A PASSION FOR MUSIC

Job Description

The Market Leader is Atlantic Record’s Street Marketing Department’s official representative for the ML’s given market. What this means is that the appointed person in this position are our eyes and ears out there. YOU are the person keeping US in the know for all things relevant to helping promote our artists in your area (i.e. weekly club parties, DJ events, college Campus events, High School events and so on)

Below is a rundown of all that will be required:

• Must have a professional relationship with your local WEA and College reps (we can provide their info to you)
• Must have/or build relationships with your local promoters
• Must be willing to help work/plan local events (in-stores, radio events, listening parties, festivals etc..)
• Must be in constant communication with other Street Propaganda members in your market
• Must have a creative mind and willing to contribute ideas for planning Street Propaganda events in your area
• Must keep a running list of lifestyle/retail markets. You must have knowledge of stores in your area (i.e. them closing and opening new stores)

Incentive Program:

We know you will be putting in a lot of time and effort into this position, and we want you to be compensated for your hard work. We are still working on confirming some incentives for you, but the below are ones that are guaranteed.

Initial Perks

$150 a month for Street Team expenses (this includes mileage, materials, street team dinners etc.) **we will provide a detailed expense outline once you are selected**
